I doubt I’ll riot but I will be disappointed.
The funny thing about this is that at no point has anyone said that Tobey Maguire and Adam Garfield are in this movie. 😆
It all began last October with an Instagram post from Jamie Foxx who’s reprising his role as Electro in the upcoming third Spidey instalment. The post was a fan-created image from digital artist n.o.v.a.official that showed three different versions of Spider-Man standing together while the face of Electro looms over them. The post was deleted not long after going up, which could either mean Foxx slipped up and was told by the head honchos over at Disney/Marvel Studios do get rid of it, OR it was just a very clever marketing trick.
Whichever one it is it’s got a lot of people excited about the prospect of all three versions of the character appearing in the same film.
The fact that villains from both Maguire’s and Garfield’s Spidey movies are in this new one (and played by the same actors as before) is reason enough to get excited, but I also read a few months ago that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were both in New York the same weekend. Coincidence or could they have been filming scenes for the movie…?🤔
I guess we’ll have to wait till Christmas to find out. 😢🕷🕸
